Focus – Twists and the Tapas of Breath Attunement

We are multi-dimensional beings and have a capacity to explore yoga in body, breath, mind and spirit. Class begins with pranayama & meditation and is followed by an inspiring and invigorating asana class. Students explore the concept of “tapas” (intensity or heat required for a deep practice), which teaches us how to tend the inner flame of our heart and belly!

Strength and core tone in the pelvis often remains unaddressed – until we develop problems associated with pelvic weakness. At the root of yoga’s teaching is the cultivation of this core strength & awareness. Using principles of rooting and breath we will uncover the key to long-lasting pelvic health! Yoga For Runners – a 5-week Series with Tara Vanselow Register
Tuesdays, May 8th – Jun 5, 6:30 – 7:45 PM $75 | $18 single, space provided

Runners of all levels (or any athlete!) is welcome to join this class specifically designed for those who want to balance their runs or workouts with stretching, toning and core strength. Many runners describe feeling “compressed” after running or experience injuries that may be related to tight muscles and lack of core conditioning. Take the whole series and experience a complete body refresher! You may take them individually as well.
